Hey! I’m Courtney and this is my bloggity blog. You’ll find that I’m not a very serious gal. I’ll probably post a lot of silly stuff here. I love to laugh and hardly ever act my age. I'll talk A LOT about music, my dog and “my kids”. I have threatened to write about serious subjects, but it hardly ever happens. Happy reading!

Trouble in Paradise
- Get a 2nd job.
- Save to move out.
- Pay off some bills.
Okay. That's all I've got for now. I guess I should have said that those are my financial goals. I'll think of some personal goals and post those later.

On a lighter note...kinda. Usually, Steph and I watch movies together on Sat nights. It's our thing. We started it b/f I moved in with her. We'd watch movies on Sat night, I'd spend the night and then we'd go to church together on Sun mornings. Well, this Sat night I was so upset with her I watched the movies by myself and then sealed the Netflix envelopes so that she couldn't watch them. Pitiful, I know. But I was mad at the time. This is what I watched:
Licensed To Wed with Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinski. It was cute. Not great. Mandy Moore's hair was great though.I've recently dyed my hair blonde, but having watched two Mandy Moore movies this weekend (I also watched Because I Said So in my room to avoid Steph), I'm rethinking this whole thing. I want her hair! =)
The Number 23 with Jim Carrey. Whoa. It's a crazy, weird movie. I liked it though. It's all dark and twisty.
Okay. Thats all for now. Pray for me! I'm so upset about this roommate situation.

A Story...
He knows this is part of the ritual he must suffer through before he gets his soup.
He's happy after getting to lick the soup bowl.
(He looks frownie, but take my word for it.)
Jack says, "Iz can haz soup?"
The End.
Here are a couple more pics of my little men:

Quick Update
I took the next step at church and started going to the New Membership sunday school class. So, after two more weeks I can finally transfer my membership to Otter Creek! Yay! And after that, I'll be able to start helping out in the Missionettes department. I'm so excited! BTW, the meeting with the pastor's wife never happened! She's a busy lady. I'm not sure what I'll have to do to nail down an actual meeting time. Pray for me!
I still haven't gotten the Charleston pics. Dad said he'd burn those pics onto a disc for me this week. We shall see.
I'm going to see Walking With The Dinosaurs this Wednesday. I'm super excited. I'll try to take pics from that. Next week I'm going to see CATS. Yay! I'm so excited (apparently I'm excited about ERRRRTHANG!). I'm taking Rachael, who has discovered a love of all things Broadway. Unfortunately, there will be no pics from that, but I'm sure Rach and I will take a bunch of goofy pics of ourselves before and after the show. Fun times!
Peace out!

Mr. Brooks. I didn't expect much from this film. First of all, I didn't think that Kevin Costner would be convincing as a bad guy. I mean, he's better suited for romantic comedies and sports films, right? Well, I was pleasantly surprised. This movie was very entertaining. William Hurt was a great as Mr. Brooks other personality and Dane Cook was a nice little comic relief. Oh yeah...Demi Moore was in the movie too, but she was forgettable. Sorry, Demi.

I Heart...Beer?
Happy 29th B-day, Simmy!
Amanda, Jenni, Sarah
I Heart Music! (#2)
Here are some of the albums I've gotten in the last month or so:
Beirut - The Flying Cup Club
Coconut Records - Nighttiming
*This one is my current fave. I've been listening to it over and over. This is Jason Schwartzman. He wrote all the songs and played all of the instruments.
Flight of The Conchords - The Distant Future
*Hilarious! I especially love the song "It's Business Time"!
Joni Mitchell - Shine
Kari Jobe - Worship
*My fave worship album right now.
Patty Griffin - Children Running Through
Pedro The Lion - Achilles Heel
*to finish off my Pedro collection.
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Rilo Kiley - Under The Blacklight
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - Rising Sand
This is what I aquired yesterday after reading suggestions on Emery's blog:
Enter The Worship Circle - First Circle
Merchant Band - Merchant Band and also The World Can Wait
I can not stress how in love I am with music! All music! In fact, I buy so many albums that I can't even listen to it all. That's rediculous, right?! I just can't help myself. =)
Also, one of my coworkers is addicted to Starbucks. This works out great for me b/c they've been doing the Song of The Day for a while. So, every time she goes (every single day) she gets a free download for me! Yay!
I love music. Music, music, music. Here it goes down, down in my...um, EARS! Hehe. See how clever I am? I took an Anchorman quote and made it my own.
TTFN!
